Is the service accessible to people with reduced mobility?

What facilities have been set up to facilitate visually impaired travellers on the service?

Two seats in the front of the coach are reserved for the visually-impaired. The coach also has an audio and visual system to announce stops.

Are there any particular reductions for people with reduced mobility?

The regional price structure does not provide for any specific reduction for people with reduced mobility. However, there is a public-service price structure with attractive rates for travellers using the service regularly, large family discounts, age-related discounts etc. (click here to see full price structure)   

 Service operation:

If I travel with a bulky item do I have to pay a surcharge?

Luggage that can fit into the hold or on luggage racks is accepted. Larger items that do not fit into the hold cannot be transported. There is no additional charge for luggage.
Similarly, any luggage containing dangerous materials cannot be accepted either on board the vehicle or in the hold.

Do the drivers accept cheques and credit cards for purchasing travel tickets?

Cheques made out to Keolis Emeraude are accepted on coaches but credit cards are not accepted.

Can I use the service with my bicycle?

Bicycles are not allowed on coaches, even in the hold. 

Where can I find information on the service once in Rennes?

Can I bring animals onto the coach?

Animals are not allowed on the coaches, except for guide dogs for the visually impaired and small domestic animals transported in pet carriers.

Do we have to book in advance for groups?

Is there a special rate for large families?

The service is free for children under 12 (up to 4 children per paying adult, not valid on Fridays and Sundays between 3pm and 8pm, departure time). Bearers of a valid large family card can avail of reductions of 30%, 40%, 50% or 75% (according to the rate displayed on the card).

Is there a group rate?

The price structure for the service does not offer group rates. However, you can avail of advantageous rates with the 10-trip Pëlmël card, valid only on the Dol de Bretagne-Mont St Michel service. This card is not a named card and it gives  you 30% reductions on the full price, 50% for travellers under 26. Similarly, don’t forget that children under 12 travel free on all coaches (up to 4  children per paying adult).

 Where can I buy tickets?

 Regional coach tickets can be bought from the coach driver and at Rennes bus station.
You can also book your coach ticket when buying your train ticket, e.g. for the Paris-Mont St Michel trip. To do this, go to any train station or SNCF branch, or to

Are there connections between TGV trains and coaches?

The timetables for the regional coach service have been aligned with the published TGV timetables.

If the TGV is late arriving at Rennes or Dol de Bretagne station, does the coach wait for the travellers?

SNCF and Keolis Emeraude have entered into an agreement to handle problems connected with TGV or coach delays. In any case, for outbound journeys, a means of transport will be provided to take TGV travellers. On the return trip, if the coach is late, passengers will be put on the next train.
